This course will cover the following

• Proper stance
• The standard response
• Multiple targets and tactical order of engagement
• Sling and carry considerations
• Tactical and speed reloads
• Transitions to sidearm
• Malfunction clearance
• Pivots and turns
• Lateral, forward, and rearward movement
• Situational awareness and conflict avoidance

The student will need the following

• Carbine with sling and ammunition carrying system
• 300 rounds of birdshot, 25 rounds of buckshot, and 25 rounds of slug minimum
• Heavy Duty Handgun, 100 rounds of ammunition
• Two magazines or speedloaders (minimum)
• Strong side holster and magazine / speedloader pouch for handgun
• Hearing and wrap around eye protection
• Hat, sunscreen, and full coverage shirts and shoes (no tank tops, low cut shirts, sandals or flip flops)
• Knee and elbow pads are optional
• Rain gear for inclement weather

Either a semi-automatic or pump shotgun is acceptable. 12 or 20 gauge, with a 20” barrel or shorter is recommended.
